About IFC 

The Interfraternity Council (IFC) at Western Michigan University serves as the governing body for the fraternities at the university, working to promote collaboration, accountability, and excellence across the community. Rooted in the principles outlined in its bylaws, the IFC provides structure and oversight to ensure that member organizations operate with integrity and alignment to university and national standards. 

The IFC fosters leadership development, academic success, and meaningful community engagement. By supporting recruitment, member education, philanthropic effort, the council plays a role in shaping the fraternity experience that prioritizes personal growth, brotherhood, academic success, friendship, and a positive impact on campus and the community.
